Hey everybody!  I am the Bereavement Director at Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPC), an organization that provides end of life care and comfort for those who have a terminal illness. Our hospice recognizes the great value that palliative care services add to those who are suffering. For this reason CHPC has formed a relationship with the Karatu Lutheran Hospital, a hospital that provides palliative care services in Tanzania. The medical needs in this region are great, and the dedicated team that provides palliative care is in need of many of the basic medical supplies and medications that we all take for granted here in the United States. That's the bad news. The good news is that it is very inexpensive for us, here, to purchase supplies on the ground in Tanzania...and get them to the hospital! With this in mind, my website is dedicated to helping these folks get the supplies they need to provide the care their patients need.
